Route A: PEAK (English Program)
- Programs: "Japan in East Asia" and "Environmental Sciences".
- Admission: Document screening + Interview. No Japanese required.
- Scores: You need near-perfect SAT, IB, or A-Level scores.
- Acceptance Rate: Very low.
Route B: Regular Admission (Japanese)
- Step 1: Score high on the EJU (Japanese, Math, Science).
- Step 2: Pass the TOEFL.
- Step 3: Pass the Todai entrance exam (Written exam in Japanese).
- Difficulty: Extreme. You are competing against the smartest Japanese students.
Tips
- Research: If applying for Grad School, contact a professor before applying.
- MEXT: Many international students enter Todai as MEXT scholars.
